This is a Christian song performed by Carrie Underwood. It continues a Praise and Worship section in my shop where I use gospel songs and make kits out of them so that we can recall how the songs make us feel and how their meanings touch us.
This song takes you through a story about a mother who survives a bad car accident by the grace of God on Christmas Eve. She is going through thoughts of how hard life is taking care of her child and seems very overwhelmed with her life. It is the feeling of everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. When she loses control of the car it's the same as her losing control of her life. She calls out to Jesus to take control of the car and bring her to safety just as we need to call out to Him to align our lives with Him and save us. She concludes the reason 'Cause I can't do this on my own' and we shouldn't! God is there for us. We need to give it all to God!
There is an antique car and tire tracks in this kit that really depict the story of the song. The wordart and wordfetti really express the message in the kit which is to trust God with all of your heart!
